  If you are after rest & relaxation, do yourself a favour & pick some place else. The bed is SO UNCOMFORTABLE. The couch too small to enjoy properly (which is a shame because if it was bigger I might have actually gotten some sleep!). Leaky/dripping tap in the bathroom drove me insane at night.
  Positives: it is a charming cabin to look at & feels private enough.

  Good place if the only thing it matters to you is the pics they show in their website. If you go in winter be prepared to be with your jacket on inside the house. They just have a air conditioning unit to heat a space where the roof is 10 m from the ground. The room upstairs is fine, the living room is freezing. There was no hot water from the shower, so just bath tub buddy...try to wash ur hair! TV internet connection dropping out randomly. Do not try to me the couch, you will find months worth of dust and sticky stuff. The bed is awfully uncomfortable. As I said in the begining, the house is nice but they try to make it nicer than practical. Some of the issues might be okay if u go in summer time.

  Ruby's Amethyst Cottage was where girlfriend and I stayed for 2 nights and were pleasantly surprised by how cosy this place is. Everything about it shows it would be really amazing for winter with the wood heater and 2 person spa bath. We stayed in summer and loved the fact that it's completely surrounded by trees and fauna giving it a secluded, private feel.

  It was a really bad experience. The place is nice but is uncomfortable, non practical and dirty. There was no hot water from the shower and we found black worms in the bathroom. The aircon heater and the fire place are not enough to keep it warm. It had dust everywhere and the mattress was extremally soft and uncomfortable. Definetly I do not recommend it.
